The international women's violence prevention party was celebrated in Khulna.  Inauguration was held on this occasion in the office premises of the Deputy Commissioner on 10th November Tuesday morning. Khulna district administration and women affairs department jointly organized this event. PARIBATAN-Khulna actively participated in the inauguration ceremony and women's rally at the Deputy Commissioner's office. 

This year's theme is unite to stop violence against women and girls, ensure digital security.

In the opening ceremony, the speakers said that people from all levels of society should work together to prevent violence against women. The speaker also mentioned that if the economic and social capacity of women increases, they will be aware of their rights and will be able to build resistance against torture. At present, the country is moving forward through equal participation of men and women - they also commented.

Khulna Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Bitan Kumar Mondal inaugurated the event. Deputy Director (Additional Charges) Suraiya Siddiqa, Women Leader Advocate Shamima Sultana Shilu and representatives of various women organizations, NGOs and voluntary organizations were present.

The participants in the inaugural function called upon everyone to play a role in ensuring digital security as well as raising awareness to prevent violence against women and girls.

 It should be noted that the international women's violence prevention campaign will continue till December 10.
