On April 27, 2026, at 2 pm, an awareness discussion on the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 was held at the Liaquat Ali Auditorium of the university, organized by the Consumers Association of Bangladesh CAB, Khulna, with the students of Khulna University. The welcome address was presented and moderated by M. Nazmul Azam David, Member Secretary, CAB, Khulna District and Executive Director, Paribartan-Khulna,. Mr. Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Vice-Chancellor, Khulna University, Khulna was present as the chief guest at the meeting. The meeting was attended by Dr. Md. Nazmus Sadat, Director of Student Affairs, Khulna University, Mr. Md. Selim, Deputy Director, National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Khulna, Mr. Walid Bin Habib, Assistant Director, National Consumer Rights Protection Department, Khulna, Mr. Abu Hena Mostafa Jamal, Special Representative, Maasranga Television, Khulna and was presided over by Adv. Kudrat-e-Khuda, Vice President CAB, Khulna District. Mr. Walid Bin Habib and Mr. Abu Hena Mustafa Jamal presented presentations on consumer rights and energy. Paribartan-Khulna organized the whole event as CAB Khulna Secretaiet. The discussion concluded with a lively question and answer session with the students.
