PARIBARTAN-Khulna has implemented the Child-Friendly Space project at 4 unions in Shyamnagar Upazila of Satkhira Districts in the emergency where those children are very vulnerable, especially to trafficking. In this situation, they have developed their capacity to share with other children about the same situations. Under the project, the children can save the children from the psychosocial effects of cyclones and improve mutual friendship relations with each other. The major activities of the project comprised nutrition support, medical support, and referral, school dress/clothes distribution, protection committee’s action to support children's psychosocial counseling and referral, play and learning sessions, numbers of children's school attendance, education materials distribution, safe clatter transition to school club, etc. The total beneficiaries of the project were 220 children.
